How would you compare the performance between the ED30 and the Boxster. Does the Boxster feel quicker?

Not lower down the rev range. You need to give it the beans to get it to really go. (I don't go silly in it   :lipsrsealed: as it belongs to my dad.)  But you get a different sensation of speed with being lower to the ground. The ED30 feels more planted, in part to the lower profile tyres & harder suspension and you seem to get more lateral movement at the back in the boxster. It would be close around the twisty bits.

The even though the TT and Boxster are both 6 cylinders the TT is a more "throaty - burble" sound to it. The Boxster is quieter lower down, but when you rev right through it has that distinctive flat six - racer howl to it (cue: hairs on back of neck standing up).  Coming off the motorway the other week, I had to go around twice (the roundabout goes under the motorway) just to hear the gorgeous noise
