getting all the bushes done plus a sorted suspension set up will give you loads more grip - but will probably make it less progressive when you go past that level of grip.

I tend to trail the brakes when going into corner's to try and get the front turning in nicely but you have to be really careful that the back doesn't start trying to overtake as has happened a couple of times with me, ending up facing the wrong way on a roundabout

To be honest, the only thing ive ever experienced from my golf is under steer. Surely this is a lot more common than the back overtaking you, unless its wet or something??

if you trail the brakes on the way into corners it can help the front turn (light braking obv!) as it will be slowing on a tighter line than the  back, it will try to come round if you hit a bump or brake to hard whilst turning in etc....

if you heel/toe you can really get a mk3 going quite nicely

Trail braking's a bit risky on public roads imho
Mk3 pedals are at good heights for H/T though

yeah fair point..... only drive my golf on track now (well will do one day!!!)

there is no trailing the brakes in my vectra I can tell you!!! sh!ttest chassis ever, hand at ten to two and smile when you get round the corner!!!! lol

you know those black and white chevron signs with special speed limits on in national speed limit roads that try to get you to take a harmless corner at about 30...... they are put out especially for vectra drivers
