The only one I would consider is a storm or base VR6 to be honest, ''If your gonna be a bear be a grizzly!''. They are good looking but they do have a very slight whiff of hairdresser about them
. Doubt I'd trade up to one unless I'm spending large dough on a mint Storm.
It's a personal choice, I mean there are still people tuning French cars for crying out loud. Why why why!

same here, ;ove;y cars if you spend top dollar and get a really nice top spec, low mileage VR6, everything else I wouldn't be interested. they are costly to repair and as such most are in dog awful shape being sold for peanuts

Well to be honest i have just picked my one up for peanuts and it was a bargain full vag hist years mot
bodywork great drives great all elec`s working. i wanted a g60 but this car was just to good to miss 2l 16v
if you find a decent one then go for it m8.
Do miss my mk2 though gone but not forgotten

My dad had a vr6 storm brand new as a company car in 95, was totally immense!!
But as has been said, it wasnt built quite like a german VW
