Steering problem - HELP!!

My mk3 16v has a steering issue which i want fixed. Its easier to turn the wheel left than right. By that i mean that on a straight bit of road, turning the wheel to the right takes almost twice the effort than to turn it to the left. This has always been the case since i bought the car, its NOT affected by wet weather. I have lowered the car and had the geometry and tracking done afterwards. I still have this 'easier to turn left problem'.
 
I replaced the ps belt when i changed the cam belt last year, but it made NO difference.

What should i check next

Check the fluid. Take the green dipstick cap off and rub the end on a white rag, it should be a red or green colour, if it's brown or black then it needs changing. Also worth seeing if the system needs a quick bleed, start then engine, and with the cap off turn the wheel lock to lock a few times. Could also be the new belt not tight enough. Failing all of that... knackered PAS pump or a leak in a PAS pipe
