i'd always go for the next charger up the m62  compare it's displacement to the g60  and you'll see why.

8 or 16v   will make massive amounts of bottom end torque with m62    m90 on a 16v would be serious fun tho
all the VW's have gone bar 1.

Both supercharging and turbocharging require massive amounts of planning before you go ahead with it...

after talking to a lot of people there seems to be a cheap way and an expensive way...

the cheap way is.. piggyback ecu, single 5th injector, brackets for charger, charger, spaced head gasket, vr6 fuel pump and belts...

sounds really easy but its not and should not be taken lightly.. im looking to sell my mk3 in the near future and buy something else.. but im going to pick up a mk2 cheap and drop a 2L lump in that charged.. i have most of the parts now so should be fun.
