fuel leak help please - now with pic
« on: 27 August 2007, 18:14 »
I've discovered a slight fuel leak from around the fuel accumulator/reservoir area but i'm not sure where yet.
If it turns out to just be a loose line or perished hose do i need to do anything to stop fuel spurting out if i undo anything or will it just be a trickle that needs catching?

cheers.

You may get an initial spurt, but it will reduce to nothing unless the pipe end is lower than the tank itself. Disconnect the battery before breaking into fuel systems.
