I don't think the Mk1 has a pump in the tank, which causes the Mk2's main pump to buzzzz when it's on it's way out (that happend to me)
P.S how is the 90 psec trim comming along of da guy?

Had the fuel pump off, on my cab, should be the same as yours,it wasn't too hard a job, but you really need to get it up on a ramp, as its not in the easiset place when its sat on the deck

Just seen your post on the noisy fuel pump.
Mine buzzes constantly!! (Which a mate told me not to worry about until the buzzing stops!!
)
Anyway, I hear too it can be a common problem and had heard of someone have this problem on their MK1 for over 4 years!
I will probably replace the pump at some point as the noise can be a little irritating but other than that I don't think it is a huge problem whilst it is still pumping the juice around!

I changed my pump over with a new one from GSF, its is easy really, just need to remember to clamp the fuel pipes going into it otherwise you tank will drain... Even when I changed pumps the noise didnt disappear so shouldnt worry about t little noise, might want to check you have the rubber sound proofing around it as this does stop allot of the noise... Hope this helps
