Radio Code

I need the radio code for my head unit on a mk4 gt tdi.i disconnected the battery and now it says safe on the front.is the only way i can get it from vw?thanks

incase you haven't checked, it is in the glovebox manual in mine, if not vw might give it you if you ask nicely

checked the manual and where its supposed to be there's nothing written there.bit gutted.the book reckons they will give ya the code for nothing though, but just wanted to get it sorted tonight.
