I have put 6x9's in the front doors of my other car and it was simple enough but took ages to do!

just need to build some pods really, sounds simple enough! ( attaching them may cause a few problems though!) front 6x9s are much harder because of doors shutting and glove boxes, if you have a 3 door car the back ones shouldnt cause too much hastle at all, just make sure they come out enough not to get in the way of the window moving inside the panel, and window winders if they are manual.

I personally wouldn't bother...My mk2 came with 6x9s in the rear doorcards courtesy of the previous owner and they sound crap!

Why do you want to put speakers in the rear doors?  If it's for the benefit of your rear seat passengers, then fair enough.

If you want LOUDER, you'd be better off spending the money on sound deadening in the front doors, and feeding your front comps some more power.
