All in all its the ideal weekend car - which is what I bought it for.

Illyun - what do you have as a daily driver then - some lardy arse 4x4???  :undecided: A caterham / radical / classic is a weekend car - IMO the golf is a great week day car.
Best of luck with the house thingy - still think your mad selling so soon!

What other cars?  Are there any other cars worth driving apart from a Golf GTI/R32?     I'm sure there are - Honda Integra Type-R, any Porsche except the Boxster (although I'm sure the Boxster is a good car), Audi RS4 etc..., Evo  etc... BUT I have owned about 20 cars in all - all Golf GTI/VR6/R32 bar two of them.  Its like when I had to choose a Summer runaround and thought 'what Mk Golf should I get?'        instead of 'what car should I get' ... I am thinking though of selling it - only bought it yesterday - and getting a Corrado VR6 just to see what the fuss is about.  The only other cars that I would consider are the Honda Integra Type-R, a Porsche 911  or an Audi RS4.... Saying that however, I think next year - if the Golf RSI comes out - will be my last Golf and I'll be moving on to new pastures - within VAG of course   However, you never forget your first love and mine's the Golf GTI and I'll have a mint Mk1, Mk2 and Mk5 Edition 30 in the double-garage/driveway for good.
