yeah, sorry len, by standard spks, i ment headunit ones. id do what heyho suggested, replace the stereo earth just as you would with an amp earth. that should solve it.

Well I'm gonna do what tobz suggested and work out if its amp or H/U first.
Thats after I replace the CAT and the roof aerial and sort a slight petrol leak!
