Can you change wheel offset and PCD
« on: 21 February 2007, 19:04 »
Anyone know if you can change wheel offset ? I cant remember what the normal one for a golf is BTW.

I would expect you can get adapters so you can change the PCD, am I right ?
Virtually everything I know about the workings of the internal combustion engine can be written on the back of a small stamp with a large marker

you can change the pcd by using adaptors and that will also lower the offset. a spacer will lower the offset but you can't make it higher.

depending on the wheel design of course, couldnt you have a few mm skimmed off the internal mounting face of the wheel to increase the offset slightly?   :undecided:
