RCD500 fitted by dealer

I have posted a few times on this site. Thanks to everyone who has added comments. Lots of help given and a great site.

I orginally had the basis sound set up and then wanted to change to the RCD 500. The dealer said that as the car order has now been fixed they cannot change at the factory. But they can fit as an extra in their workshop.

They told me something on the MFSW will not work (but volume up and down is ok)

I asked them to check that the 10 speakers will still be ok (rather than the basic 8 speakers)


Any comments or experience form anyone on this?

not familiar with this HU is it a factory upgrade? with aftermarket HUs they can often effect the MFI things. what mk golf? does it display the radio station and stuff on the dash?
