Hi,
Got a slight leak from the gearbox on my 1990 16v.
Are they a common sump or do they use separate gear oil in the box?
If the latter, how the hell do you top them up?
Thanks and what's the best stuff to use?

Completely different oil to the engine.
There are two plugs on the side of the gearbox on the passenger side, the top one is the fill hole. Require a hex socket to get it out. Or you could unscrew the speedo cable and fill it from there.
Oil to use is 80/90W hypoid gear oil.
