HELP Breakes have failed in devon need anhonest mechanic!!

OK  my battery tray has rusted causing the battery to shift violently into the engine bay, knocking the break fluid reservoir off, its still connected now but my breaks hardly work leaving my car unusable so i need an honest mechanic (yeah i know thats an oxymoron) but any suggestions would be appreciated

sure its your break reservior and not the power steering reservior mate?

duno how it could reach your break reservior?

possible that the battery damaged one of the break lines that are near the firewall

If it has managed to knock your reservoir off then once replaced and topped back up, chances are you will need to bleed the brakes as air will have entered the system.

For your battery to have done that though, I agree with the above, it would seriously have had to move and ripped half of your loom out in the process

Much more likely to be power steering reservoir and a brake line damaged.
