I could imagine you getting over the initial newness of the MK 8, seeing a TCR and having huge doubts, so 100% best decision.

Exactly this. I made use of the 5 day free insurance thinking it would give me time to drive both cars back to back and decide from there. I wasn't sure that the CS drove any better so for me that was decision made, especially considering the money to be made from selling the CS.

In other news, an R600 intake landed today and a full alcantara wheel is also in the works from the guys over at Royal Steering wheels n :laugh:

Mine could do with a few treats although a wash would be a good start! Are you changing the inlet pipe and elbow too?

I had a wheel recovered by Royal. It was a lovely job on a manual wheel with no paddles. Pity mine was a DSG. 😂. They did sort it quickly and the quality of their work was brilliant.

Yeah, have bought the whole kit as I felt the pipe and the elbow made a good chunk of difference from what I had read. Will report back on how I get on when I fit it at the weekend.
