Losing Quality

Hey there guys

I have a Mk4 Golf GTI which has the original radio and tape player in it. The sound is great but I want to fit a new stereo, one with a CD player, maybe a Sony one.

I was wondering, would I lose this quality sound if I changed the stereo?

Not at all. As long as you buy a good quality aftermarked cd player, in fact you should gain quality.

I recently installed a top of the range pioneer stereo for a friend in his ford focus with stock speakers and the difference was amazing. So much louder and clearer with more bass.
