Has anyone got the full brake lights to work using OBD11 on Mk7.5?

Could somebody please explain why anyone would need to modify a car's brake lights?

so instead of just the outside lights coming on the inners come on as well so it’s easier to see your braking from behind with a full spread

The Mk7.5 Led brakes are so bright I doubt anyone could ever miss them so IMO adding more brake lights is completely unnecessary.
