Anyone else take livery of their Cs lately ?

All the talk of facelift I nearly forgot I haven't seen mine yet !!  Must admit I quite like the facelift car and the new half leather seats..

Hope I don't regret going for the CS.. Sure when I see it in the flesh I won't.  Hoping to get to the dealer this weekend and see it and get some pics..

Mine arrived a week ago but I'm leaving it for a March delivery seeing it's so close.  I do like the look of the 7.5 GTI, but I have no regrets about getting the CS - special edition, exclusivity, more horsepower etc. etc.

Bit of advice needed here on my clubsport dsg, im noticing a weird thing happening when driving around my town, when im coming up to say a corner and taking it easy i seem to lose power, hard to explain but its like the revs drop right off and theres nothing there as you come out of the corner, did not have this with my last gti dsg so im wondering if its just my driving style or if there is a known fault out there?

Strange you should mention that I get the same kind of thing in my normal GTI as you come out of a corner or turn into a junction there is nothing there, it is as if its trying to select the correct gear but there is a delay before you get anything.

In what mode? D? And under which conditions? Breaking as you approach a junction and then accelerating?  Gearboxes don't have any particular issue with coming out of corners, it's probably down to the driving scenario you're into and the DSG being in auto mode trying to figure out what comes next. If this happens in Manual mode then it's a different story.

I haven't noticed that with mine and I'm coming from a 7-Speed dry DSG that was infamous for "dying" just before entering roundabouts, that was solved by either using S mode or Manual. I drive 95% in Manual though so I don't have this or any other "DSG logic" issue.

D mode as im approaching and entering a slow corner, just like a roundabout situation, can see the revs drop right off and no power, like said it must be deciding what to do next.... just feels a bit weird and dont remember it happening on my previous gti
