Been following my CS and the tracker has just changed to "In transit" today.  I wonder if there are any ships operating over the next couple of weeks, or will it just be stuck at the port until the new year?

I'd guess at the ships only taking the minimum time off if any at all.

I've been following them.  One docked in Grimsby (where mine will be going) yesterday and is now on its way back to Emden and there's another on the way now.  Tracker still hasn't moved, it's showing 4 weeks to dealer.

4000 miles on Mrs LRWmotorsports CS and no squeaks from the Recaros.
Dropped the oil out @3.5k for the sake of it, reported back that it was all nice and clean.

Wouldn't mind a drive in it at some point.....

Hi all, Hopefully someone can shed some light on an issue with my CS order

Car was BW50, all seemed good according to tracker built and changed to in transit 16th December, All good i thought, so 4 weeks later and still no change on tracker

I get a phone call from dealership today as they have been chasing as they expected it by now, Turns out it hasn't left the factory at all and is waiting on a software update, No more info available from VWUK than that

Has anyone else experienced this at all??

Blimey, MrsLRW is certainly enjoying it.   I don't do that mileage in a year.

I'm the same and from what you've said we are at the same dealership.  CSS owners had the same problem a few weeks ago, car built but stuck at the factory awaiting a software update.  My guess is that they are all issued with Golf R ECUs which are 300ps (they have the same engine), so they need an update to give them the correct output (CSS were 310ps).

Yeah I'd read about the CSS having to wait for the update. Just never the CS.

Shame VWUK don't actually tell the dealers about these things let alone customers

Could well be the same dealer as the girl I have been dealing with said she had another one right behind mine, VW Chester mine's coming from

My CS  was BB48 which I shall be taking delivery of this week, how are those CS built prior  to BB50  meant to get this software update but only through the VW dealership network. I find it hard to believe that the factory allows cars to build up just to get a software update when it can so easily be done at the dealership.
