Fog lights question
« on: 18 August 2015, 22:30 »
Hello all. I recently purchased some new bumper indicators for my mk3 which came with a set of fog lights. Wanted to know how I could get these hooked up, there doesn't seem to be any existing wiring for it currently to set it up?

You'd have to buy the loom for them I believe! Just a quick look on Ebay reviled:

Guy has everything you need for it if you read the description :)

You can make loom at home.

You need two plugs, a spade connector, eye connector for gnd and bit of 1 or 1.5 mm2 wire in two colours.

Posted on here once or twice what to do and some photos as well. Can't find easily with my mobile on holiday though.

If you saearch you will find the loom. Every MK3 has the same harness. Only difference between the models are that some are connected and some dont. But they all have the same

Is the wiring for fog lights already present in the main loom from the fuse box to the circular connector at the front in all cars?

I know that on my 16V the wiring was already there for range adjustment, I just had to sort the loom from the circular connector to the lights.
