Looking at the amd remapped ecu mods all ready are

Tip
Induction
3`` downpipe decat
2.75" cat back
Forge 007 on yellow spring

So the ecu looking at is 221bhp was mapped with a fmic. I know i wont retain that peak power due to heat soak but is it safe to use while i sort out my fmic route??

I reckon the ECU you are looking at has a Stage 1 map. 210 bhp is par for the course in standard trim (i.e without FMIC).

So yes, it will be fine

Edit. Just read your sig and see you have a stage 1 map. Yours should already be making at least 210 with the decat and probably more like 220. What do you think this new ECU is going to do for you?

I disagree, a stage 1 map is around 190-200bhp.

221bhp is perfectly realistic for stage 2 depending on the level of mods.

you NEED a FMIC for a stage 2.  The turbo gives off too much heat and the stock SMIC intercooler cant keep up with anything over 200bhp and wanting to push stage 2 mods.

If your going to go stage 2, do it right and get a FMIC and take full advantage.   Last thing you want is 50C+ temps pulling timing so far back your still at stage 1 power.

If its at a good price why not get the ECU and store it until you've sorted the FMIC route?

above,

or install the ecu and just drive sensibly (i.e. not ragging it) untill you get fmic sorted.
