just to throw another curve ball into the mix.

Renault megane r26r  :lipsrsealed: unsure what these are like for insurance, tax, reliability etc etc etc.but always liked the look of them and saw one today and it got me thinking, can get change from 10k for a slightly above average one, and change from 15k for a real low milage good condition one by the looks of it. anybody have any experience?

Cambelt is mega money to replace plus it is French I would avoid tbh.

£606 quid is not mega bucks is it from a main dealer  we had the 225 and apart from the poor interior quality it was a decent car but would a put over 10k into 1 no  but thats just me the op might see it different and the r26 has no back seats plastic rear windows

Spend money on the dub. You already love her enough to be on here enough and have put time invested in it. Make it a real head turner

My younger bro just wasted best part of £4k after a owning an RS6 for maybe 8 months, only to realise the running costs were too high after  taking out the 10k loan.

I have many other hobbies to my car and motor sport etc so I am not sure if I am getting old (almost 25) or getting responsible and boring. I'd enjoy the dub and save for bigger and better things than a car.

Get the right car and there is nothing better ;)

(Sure a house is bigger, but I'm guessing he isn't on the street, so he already has one of those too)
It's a mk2. Fill it, drive it, enjoy it.
