Bolt fitment !
« on: 30 March 2014, 15:59 »
Bought some new alloys this weekend and im going to be fitting them Hopefully tomorrow if I have the right bolts!
the wheels are a8/rs8 reps,
The bolt goes in and sits flush it looks and feels right But i want abit of peace of mind before going ahead.
It is the correct size bolt, but its the shape im unsure about radius/tapered

Is that a standard wheel bolt? It looks like a ball seat, for an aftermarket wheel you'll need tapered seat.

For what it's worth I ran the same wheels with those bolts(not by choice bought it like it) for around 3 months+ however long they were on before and never a problem

GTI is not a trim level. It is a lifestyle.

you will find standard bolts are radius fitment and as wes has said you need a taper seat fitment bolt as all aftermarket/reps use this bolt fitting.
