Newbie to car radios and installing them, but plenty of DIY skills

The existing Black and White car radio on the Golf Mk5 is dieing, 2 horizontal pixel lines have died.
So can you advise me on what radio to go with (I know many, many to choose).

Requirements:
Links up to ipod nano for playing music and playlists - (Wanted)
Links up to Android Nexus 5 for taking calls (possibly playing music in the future) -(would be nice)
Sat Nav (nice extra, as currently use my phone)
Watch DVD's (not needed as I don't have kids)
Not look too flashy (I'm not a boyracer and I do park it on the street in fairly average to rough areas)
Cheap but good. I don't want to be spending hundreds on it, as the car is a work horse that gets me to work, climbing, mtb etc.
I don't spend hours polishing it or cruising with friends.

I've been recommended an Eonon, though don't know where to start.

Thanks

Getting this fitted tomorrow http://www.pioneer.eu/eur/products/25/121/61/FH-X700BT/page.html bluetooth, ipod/phone control & charging etc. Doesn't have sat nav but you can use your phone to bluetooth the nav app through the stereo. Not expensive by any means. Will update you after I've had it fitted for a few days but from what I've read it's a great unit for all that it costs.

Cheers for the reply

Looks like a good price and good unit.
Would be interested to know how it goes and also how much it costs you.
What trim are you using?

Also a side question, what do you use to hold your mobile when using it for Sat Nav?
I 'm currently using the cup holder, which isn't the best.
