Mk5 GTI Remap - Rtech
« on: 01 December 2013, 16:07 »
Hi guys and girls!

On Friday 27th I had my Golf remapped up at Rtech.
Booked for a stage 1, the guys were awesome and managed to get the golf running at 255bhp and 301lbs/ft of torque. Well happy with it! The way it pulls through all the gears is amazing!
It's my second visit there as I got my mk4 remapped there too. My mate has had his mk4 done there aswell.
If anyone out there wants a remap then get down to Rtech, you won't be disappointed!
Cheers guys!
Martin

Good news!

Do you have any mods to achieve that?

Thanks

The golfs only got a Pipercross panel filter and the DV+, I'm running it on shell v-power but could only find a BP nearby so it got mapped on ultimate.

Over the moon with the return!

The R-Tech TFSI maps have had some serious innovations over the last 2 years, the first leep was our unique TiV™ map developments more power less boost less heat, , now LBK mapping to utilize the factory manifold flap setup to aid the torque band and remove the surge points.
Link the LBK with our new VVT map phasing to allow more air flow across the head using the inlet cam position it allows us to make huge torque bands with much less boost in the past 1600mb boost would make 350lbft now we can make 350lbft with just 1400mb, so a cooler more effective turbo which can then be pushed harder at the top end to stretch the power curves as long as we can.

The MK5 Gti needs a remap...it's quite frankly dull without one :undecided:

P.S
I swear I should be on commission with frequency my thread gets referenced on forums
