Name and shame - who is the dealership?  After reading a few of these stories I'm glad to have a dealer who stays in touch regularly with updates.

Hope you get it sorted.

My dealer did this to me with my mk6. I waited 7 months(after initally been told max of 10 weeks) and then for 2 weeks the cheaky barstuards had it on display in the showroom!
You can ask for a copy of the pdi to see if its been damaged its what ive always done. They may need to request it back from vw as its all done electronically now.

Requesting a copy of the PDI! Now that's a good idea! I'll definitely be going that when I go to collect mine.
