The user manual is on the A1 hard drive and can be read on the screen which is great when you are in the car.
However you can't beat a physical hard copy.

Hi  Black oil.
You have me confused.
As far as I am aware, all of the functions you describe are also available on the Discover Nav.
As far as I can see, the Pro version adds a few bells and whistles e.g voice control etc and , of course, the larger screen.

Makes it a bit easier to see and do things with a larger screen but maybe that's my age and the fact that my fingers are like pigs tits.

Age is no barrier to fun and excitement!!
I'm 68, and cannot wait to get my hands on the GTI that I ordered today.

Well Graham this has gone off topic a bit but for what it's worth and cut a long story short...
I had a loaner for 2 days after taking delivery of my GTI cause of an issue and the loaner nav after the nav pro really felt like a step backwards
True, the car was also unfamiliar but it just seemed like a lesser thing.Nav pro fills the space in the dash just right.

I actually think VW missed a trick here. With the large infotainment screens in the MK 7, I think they should have had the manual electronically loaded into the infotainment screen. BMW have been doing this for some time, and it would always be available on demand.

How would they explain how to use the infotainment system to find the manual? :)
