this happened to me last week its the weld on the back off the pedal has give way over the years , it was a nightmare to get off the car but a easy and cheep fix  it cost me £2 for the parts from vw as i got two clips just incase and i welded my pedal myself

This happened to me in the middle of a dual carriage way!! Sitting on phone for a pick up and some jobsworth traffic cop pulls up next to me and says I better not of pulled up to use the phone :angry:

I said "I've broken down actually and if you're not gonna help then you need to move as your blocking the only free lane" :cool: what a be11end!!!!

I was also stuck in slow moving traffic, on my birthday about to go out!

As it went I literally coasted into a car park on my left and managed to call the AA who done a temporary repair to get me home with it, and then got it fixed at work.

The pedal was so high with the temp repair gave my leg muscles some pain, but good on him for sorting a temp fix out!
