that all seems about right, although the 10 bolts you've priced up can't be head bolts, they are more like a pound a bolt. its all the little things that add up though, remember a few oil filters, oil for a few changes, coolant etc.....

I can't really give you a list mate as mine was still under warranty so I just swapped the block.

I am running standard 185/60x14 BBS rims so yeah traction is a bit crap away from lights though, still not used to launching, as soon as you get your clutch up it just snatches and spins.

Maybe I just can't drive  :undecided:

Anyone going to Edition 38 next month?
1987 Mk2 GTi 8v. Full strip out. LUKE harnesses. Drilled Airbox. 14" BBS. Slammed on Coilovers.? Plastic arches fell off. Side of splitter hanging. Weight reduction by 'Rust Motorsport'

A few oil filters and oil changes???  Will i need to do a few at the start then.. or u mean run her in for like 500 miles.. do a change.. then another at 1000 and another at 1500.. after about 1500 i should be able to give her some welly u recon?

Whens edition 38 and where?

Check out the website, it's meant to be getting bigger every year but i've never been so wouldn't know.

yeah thats what i meant by a few oil changes. you should be able to give it some after about a 1000 but it never hurts to take it easy!
