I've got to that dreaded stage with the front engine mount bolt not going through after replacing the starter.
I've jacked the engine up, i had it jacked while i undid the bolt too, but the holes  are about 6mm away from lining up.
Is there any method to use to get them back? There isn't any room to grab things to shake it or i can't seem to use a screwdriver to lever anything (probably not wise anyway!).
Any help would be much appreciated!

Can't understand why you can't sort it? Maybe stick a long screwdriver through to line it up fella

You just have to fiddle about with it. Its a pain to line up sometimes

Keep everything slack until all bolts are in on a few threads then tighten it all up.

Thanks for the responses here. Yes, definitely keeping things slack helped a great deal, but the trick that nailed it was to loosen off the 10MM allen bolt on the sub frame...made it pop right into place!
