Dump valve removal

if youre mapped up and running more boost then i wouldn`t use an OEM one either.
i`m getting loud dump noise from my 007p due to using a cone filter. reason being im using a silicone tip for and audi S3 and can`t fit my airbox for the time being..
the dump noise doenst really bother me but i dont like it when heads turn either...lol

Problem is NO ONE in new zealand things agu is tunable. They can only tune aftermarket. I reckon soon as i find some one to map my GTi it will be sweet

My gti is totally standard apart from the dump valve thats why i would just stick to an OEM recirc valve and 18 inch alloys which either need changing for smaller ones or lowering a tad, don't like gaps in the arch :-)

Here is a picture of my engine bay, you can see the dump valve at the front then the pipe which has been blanked off at the back.

You need to replace the T- piece with the dump valve with a solid one or better get a new pipe that aint been cut. Then you need the standard rubber pipe at the top this goes from the pipe in the middle to your standard valve. Then the other side of that plugs into the airbox pipe

I'd be lazy, put new Recirc DV in current location and buy some 25mm vacuum hosing of fleebay and run it back to where it was. Considering most people especially in the states get wet between the legs to have their DV in that location or fork out ridiculous amounts of money for a forge DV relocation kit, when all you needed was a T-piece to begin with and save a hell lot of money.

Thanks for the tip , I'm new to VW so not to sure on where everything should be standard but I will have a look on the bay and get some vacuum hose and figure it out.
