I'm buying these. But i'm stuck on which pads will fit mine;

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Golf-mk3-Gti-Front-Rear-Drilled-Brake-Discs-Pads-96-97-/300474777007?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&fits=Car+Make%3AVW%7CModel%3AGolf%7CPlat_Gen%3AMK+III&hash=item45f5b13daf#ht_0wt_0

I would avoid drilled they crack.  Grooved better choice.  Just buy basic mintex front and rear discs and rear

pads with more expensive front pads like Mintex M1144.  Thats the advice I been given.  Your car dont

produce loads of power.

I got grooved front and rear discs from mtech for 104. I also got yellow stuff pads as i mentioned previously. I have fitted them too. I also got new rear bearings (fag) from central auto supplies for 10 each side. They come with the bearing grease and was a full kit.

Also you should be able to reuse the abs ring (i sprayed plenty of wd40 and gently prised it off and fitted then i aint had a issue with abs either. Why do you want to replace the abd sensor? If its playing up then fair if its not then dont waste your money mate.
