Please don't use ED38 as a basis for valuing your car! Classifieds on here aren't much better though, pretty tatty looking 8v on banded steels advertised at £1500 at the moment

I'd say £1100 is about right for a tidy 16v, maybe a little more.

No I'm not don't worry, there does seem to be a lot of dreamers on there. Yh seen that 8v on here too. Not many tidy valvers for sale atm so hard to price it to sell and still get some money back.

It is worth whatever someone will pay for it at the end of the day.

Seeing all the work you've had done, what with all the rust problems sorted i think someone will pay a bit more for yours minty. Ive got a huge bill staring me in the face to get all the body work sorted so buying one already done will make it more saleable. Good luck mate, shame your selling after all you've forked out!!!

A solid body with good sills and arches adds a good amount of value if you ask me!

Yh this is a good point. I bort it because I wasn't worried about doing the work myself. So someone who doesn't have the skills/knowledge to do bodywork might pay more as you said. I will be sad to see it go. But all the work I done I did kinda have selling on in mind so tried to keeps costs down. Still think il loose money. But I could never save up £1500 so think putting money into this and then selling it is a good way for me to save money  kinda  :undecided:

As I always say any car is only what some idiot is willing to pay for it!
A standard Mk3 Gti can be bought for £300.
I have paid £500 for a Colour Concept.

It also depends how fast the seller needs some cash!
