Mk3 prices?
« on: 24 February 2013, 19:07 »
Are mk3s going up in price or is everyone on ed38 dreamers?

I've been looking around because I don't know how much my 16v is worth. After looking on ed38 it would seen its worth more then I thort, seen a 1.4 and a tdi on there and both are over £1100 looks like mine is worth more then I first expected

I know it's says I shouldn't ask on here BUT...... How much do you reckon mines worth?

Will have a ss exhaust. Coilovers and refurbed rx2s on when I sell it. I was thinking £1600?

From what I'm aware of a 16v in semi decent condition will be round about £800-£1000. One in very good condition will be round about £1200-£1400. £1600 is decent VR6 money.

So many cars on ED38 that don't sell because there prices are way over the top.In the end they give up after months of "If I had the money I would buy this" or "When my car sells I will be in touch" blah blah blah.Every car I have sold has sold first time on eBay which imo is the best place to sell a car Piston heads is pretty good as well.

Is that before or after the price of fuel goes through the roof?

Please don't use ED38 as a basis for valuing your car! Classifieds on here aren't much better though, pretty tatty looking 8v on banded steels advertised at £1500 at the moment

I'd say £1100 is about right for a tidy 16v, maybe a little more.
