I read this, then read it again, n have finally worked out what it is!
That spring is actually nothing to do with your clutch pedal, it is from beneath your seat! Mine came off the passenger side, n initially I thought 'Where the fcuk has that come from?!'
Just look underneath your other seat to see where it attaches to! Tbh, it didn't make any difference on or off
