Turbo guru/hybrid builder advice needed!
« on: 14 January 2013, 19:23 »
I managed to get hold of a very cheap K03-053 (k03s) a few weeks ago to replace my K03-011 in my mk4 agu. My question is, would any machining be needed to fit the turbine and turbine housing from a K04-001 onto my K03s?

I'll be giving this a go soon, once I've gathered the bits I need! Even found a company that will balance it for me. I know the performance Isn't going to be as good as a K04-02* hybrid, but I figure by using the larger compressor side of the KO3s it should produce better figures than the K04-001.
