right lads,

just finished work, decided to get home a bit faster than required so with a bit of spirited driving down an old straight A road i heard a pop and slight loss of power  :lipsrsealed:

pulled up home and noticed that idle was a bit funny and theres a click when hard over right and the going back to straight  :undecided:

popped the bonnet and saw a bit of moisture on the side of my can so stuck my hand down the side and the friggin drain plug has shot off the side of my can, dented my battery harness plastic and is now sitting somewhere on the old A12

questio: is it ok top drive about without the plug until a new one is sourced and can anyone tell me when happened to my idle? its almost like its hunting for normal idle and i think with the cold weather and not using my vehicle for 12 hours my exhaust has given the ghost, would this cause the problem with idle as well?

how long has the catch can been in?
sounds like too much pressure build up as in the wrong plumbing of the hoses into the can..............

There shouldnt be a pressure build up to the extend to blow the emptying nut off

well started it today and was a bit jerky, smoothed out after 2 miles though  :undecided: replacing with a new can now, would the drain plug cause lump idling?
