when I had my 8v at 19 with 1 years ncb, I was paying £132 a month, looking towards a mk4 gttdi at renewal at end of year if all plans go well  :cool:

first year of my licence, mk3 8v, 3rd party.... between 1700-2000k so i went through my mother and it came down to £500 3rd party.

not currently working so this is best i can do

`you went through your mother' ??  Where I come from this means something VERY different to what I believe you're implying!   :wink:

This is a very handy thread, thanks for the information.

I think i will try admiral as i am currently paying £700 a year with VW - 35yrs, 2yrs NCD- no points :huh:methinks i am being ripped off as i had a 50% increase last renewal!

I was with Admiral for a couple of years, they are alright - the call centres are ok and I would say the prices were reasonable.  I was paying £700 then full comp with zero no claims on a GTI 8v and was living in London, so high premiums.
