Do I need to change Aum pipes to AGU
« on: 27 May 2012, 09:29 »
Every time I think I have fixed the last boost leek I will have, within a couple of days I get another new one appearing  The power must find the next weakest point to brake and escape from!

So, I want to fix what I HOPE is the last boost leak I need to fix, which is the Charge pipe and its stupid c clip connection to the hose that joins on to the pancake pipe. What I want to know is if I change the charge pipe to an AGU charge pipe, and get the samco outlet to pancake hose to fit on it, will I also need to replace the other three AUM silicone hoses that I have just put on to the other end of the charge pipe that go to the N75, the Diverter valve, and the turbo outlet, to AGU ones, or will the AUM ones still be ok to use on an AGU charge pipe?

Thanks

the AUM pipe with the C clips is the only one that has the problem I think

Sorry, I may not of been very clear in my question. Do you know if my creation motor sport AUM silicone hoses from my AUM charge pipe to the diverter valve, N75 and turbo outlet will also fit on a new AGU charge pipe, or will i need to get new AGU silicone pipes to fit the AGU charge pipe.

Thanks

AUM hoses will fit the AGU pipe, I found only the outlet to pancake pipe needed cutting down slightly to fit on to the charge pipe, other than that is a direct replacement for the AUM.

If I have understood you correctly, then I don't need to purchase the AGU outlet to pancake hose, as the AUM one will fit the AGU charge pipe if I cut it down a bit.

Is that right?

Thanks

the AGU hose needed to be cut down, AUM will not fit as different connections.
