As ive not got any, would it be best to run some 13cm components through them?? do these need to be amp'd?

How do you get the dash speakers out?

The dash speakers have a grile over them there is a cap over the screw. once its off the speaker is held in by a couple of screws but you will need a small screwdriver!!

If you have the grills that go at the front of the door, then yes, these hold 13cm speakers (5"). If you buy a good set of components with cross overs (i recommend jbl's, they're dirt cheap and sound great) then install the tweeter in the dash, or on the door. I used the hole in the door for the mirror adjusters (you dont need them). If you dont have the grills, you can buy them from dealers at around £10 plus vat each, or email me and i'll sell you a brand new pair for £15 inc post (i gotta few kicking round).

To get the standard speaker out the dash you need a 90degree screwdriver. If you have a good headunit these wont really need amping, but if you have a crap headunit and want it up loud, these will need amping. Nothing mega powerfull is needed to power components, and usually a 50w rms amp will be PLENTY loud enough.
