Malfunction Indicator Light (MIL) ON

Check Wiring and/or Connector(s) from/to Mass Air Flow Sensor (MAF/G70)
Check/Replace Mass Air Flow Sensor (MAF/G70)

Fault(s) stored in Engine Control Module

Possible Solutions
Check Engine Control Module for Fault Codes

Special Notes
Engine Control Module stored a Code which influences other Control Modules Functionality.
 To clear this Fault Code you will need to correct the Problem in the Engine Control Module first.

Thank you, how would i check the ECM in vagcom 409.1? i just cleared all error codes and rescanned.

Also, i found this hose had split.. not sure if it's anything to do with the MAF



The ABS light doesn't light up on engine startup

i had exact same hose split too and it fooked my maf.. get silicone replacement off the bay mate  :wink:

I will do mate, what are they called?

Also, how do i get to the engine control module in vagcom?

Is it the 01 - Engine controller? just i thought doing vagcoms Auto Scan would of picked up the codes for the ABS problem
