And do you notice how many 'trendy' cars (MINI, up!, Beetle for example) now have body coloured interior panels, how long ago was it that base models came with painted metal interior sections and you had to spec up for a few bits of plastic capping to make the interior more 'upmarket', now it's vice versa!
As they say, fashion goes round in circles so I'm going to pre-empt the next trend and rip all my carpets out, replacing them with some crappy rubber!!
