Hold throttle wide open/ engine off and intercooler pipe off and get a cloth with carb cleaner on it and get cleaning .No need to remove it.  :wink: My hand fits inside that hole.  :evil: I just did mine again ,runs sweat.

Much better to remove it and clean it properly imo  :smiley:

Only done mine twice never been too black or had poor running because of it  :smiley:

ended up taking the TB off for all it was and gave it a good scrub , its shiny now
:), seems to idle a lot better although slightly higher RPM, its just over 1000 but is no longer spiking like it used to, will the revs flatten bk down to around 900 (which im sure is an average idle, correct me if im wrong ) or is this normal.

Yep just drive it a few miles that should do it  :wink:
