just google'd cam base circle and it appears ive measured the correct bit (round protion of cam lobe).
looks like its worth giving it a try

Help? I have merely added to the confusion. TBH its worth fitting anyhow, as long as you get the timing correct its not gonna destroy anything. Come to think of it, arent 8vs non-interference anyhow?
