It really is easy money for the level they want and the company is getting bigger all the time! We've already got an old co-worker back in January AND looking for the new coffee b!tch 1st level tech  :wink:

I remember when you had to manually assign the IRQ & DMA on ye oldé ISA cards via jumpers and match your config.sys to your jumper settings and the CD-ROM could connect to the sound card using the IDE ribbon cable because some machines didn't have enough on-board IDE ports :embarassed: Them were the days :laugh:

But for the purest engine experience, displacement has no replacement. All other methods are simply attempts to artificially recreate the benefits of displacement.

Sent you a pm Jay to find out a bit more about job, I've only become 22 recently so I don't go that way back, but I use to pick up old machines for fun and fiddle with them, I remember some of the cr@p I put xp on  :grin:

Uncle use to work for HSBC so I use to pick up some of there machines when they updated there hardware every 2-3 years, their desktops were crazy running 15,000rpm scsi drives  :shocked:

You seem to hate your job and an ideal job has come up. Sounds like too good an opertunity to miss buddy, if you know your stuff and show this you wont be on phones for long. Im sure jay could assist in this too  :lipsrsealed:

We're all on the phones :grin: But tis the new persons job to answer them more often so they get used to the clients and clients get used to them :wink:

Plus PC 800 ram would be a million pounds to buy, and a SCSI drive was cool with 8GB  :tongue:
