Hi there,
After a relatively fruitless couple of days, perhaps someone on here has the answer?
I'm putting my mk2 back on the road, and although I have the original pull out headunit and I love the retro look, I want something with a bit more connectivity for speakers and maybe a sub. So I've picked up a Kenwood KRC-935C headunit for retro cassette looks, and a suitable cd changer for sticking in the boot so I can listen to something more than my girlfriends joseph and his multicoloured frock soundtrack or the back catalogue of Elkie Brooks [stolen from my parents purely for Pearl's a Singer :embarassed: ]
However, whilst the car has been fitted with iso plugs, the back of the kenwood unit is the old style, single run of pins [so I guess 8pin rather than 16].
My question is, does anyone do a wiring harness for iso to old style headunit connection, or is it a case of taking the white plug off that I have with the current wiring, buying a bare cable iso harness, and making the two fit? If it is, then would I be right in thinking that as long as I wire up a perm feed [yellow], switched live
and earth I'll be alright?

Any help appreciated because my phone spitting out tinny renditions of what I assume were once recoded in stereo songs is starting to grate.
Cheers
Morgs
