Very true, when you take out the original MAF from airbox, you will see the plastic tabs that house the big rubber o ring.
Remove these, and the inner circle that holds the o ring in the other side and the vr6 MAF fits straight in without anything else needed!
Once you have a look at the original airbox lid, you will see what I mean straight away!
Thing is, if you going past stage 2 (ko4-001, gt35 etc..) its recommended you use a cone filter, anything less you don't need a bigger MAF, so renders this golden guide pretty useless!
If your AGU and injectors and pump are nackered and doing this for stage 2, it might be usefull to someone though.
