1.8T AUM misfire when cold
« on: 24 August 2011, 12:49 »
I have a MK4 Golf 1.8T (AUM) which seems to misfire on light throttle when cold.

It has had 4 new coilpacks from VW under re-call. Maf was recently replaced, again OEM.

The car is 'Stage 2' mapped by AMD.

It does not bring up any management lights or codes, any ideas?

The SAI isn't connected to the airbox as i have an aftermarket enclosed filter, could this be the problem?

I did check the catch tank and FMIC/boost hoses for leaks, all seems fine.

Thanks for the reply!

Thank you for the replies.

I'll have to find a way to connect it to my air filter!
