so i upgraded my phone last week, got a new contract and was told ide be on the same tarif as my old contract which was unlimited texts and internet and 900 minits, on the peice of paper you sign it says 'tarif : same as previous.'

but when i went on the my tmobile website it came up saying i only have 900 mins and 500 texts and thats it, now ive been using my phone for a week and have used up about 5 quids worth of internet charges thinking i get unlimited internet also i have worked up about 1 quids worth of charges for going over my texts.

so what can i do, do they have to give me the same tarif as previously as thats what i signed for? do they have to cancel the £6 odd worth of charges ive ran up?

anyone whos been in a simelar situation?


(before anyone says go see them ive rang up and they couldnt do anything so im going to the carphone warehouse tonight to see what i can do but just wondering as im not that clued up on contracts etc.)

Cancel the contract, take your business else where. Vodafone did something similar to me, I cancelled my contract and never paid the bill and had no comeback in the last 3 years and took out a new contract with them last year and passed  their eligibility checks.
Passat B5.5 2.3 V5 170, with all the extras.

But for the purest engine experience, displacement has no replacement. All other methods are simply attempts to artificially recreate the benefits of displacement.

I would walk away from this contract you usually get a 14 day cooling off period.  There are stacks of companies who will offer the phone and contract you want.

this isnt t-mobiles fault though, im happy with the service ive got from tmobile for the past 3 or 4 years, this was the carphone warehouses fault as far as im concerned, unless the carphone warehouse has listed me on the right contract but somehow tmobile has read the contract wrong.

also cause its a new phone (released this month) it isnt out on many networks. iirc


though if they arent able to change it i am going to walk away from the contract as im going to be running up loads of charges over the month, and with out internet its pretty pointless.

Did you sign a contract and send it back?
Without a signature they can't hold you to it. I know people talk about "verbal" contracts, but legally these mean nothing.
If you went to court over it and the mobile phone company couldn't provide a copy of your contract with your signature, then they have nothing on you.
Also, there is usually a 30 day (or so) cooling off period, so you could also cancel under said clause.

Log onto your online account and select the internet booster. Failing that go to the shop and they will do it for you.
